As communicated to all Dexco clients in early 2024, we no longer accept emails from third-party domains in our support system due to security considerations. Our ticketing system is designed to process correspondence only from email addresses that match the client’s domain.
For example, some clients use a designated email address for their IT team, such as "ITSupport@____.ca" to facilitate seamless communication. Alternatively, a direct submission from someone within the client’s organization to support@dexco.com is also acceptable.
As the nature of legal work is privileged and confidential, we must ensure that all client communications remain as secure and private as possible. Many IT providers work with multiple companies, raising concerns about the potential for cross-contamination of sensitive information. This policy helps us mitigate these risks and protect client confidentiality.
Additionally, when correspondence is received from unidentified third parties, it becomes challenging for us to determine the client’s identity. Given that different versions of Acumin are used across a variety of environments, this adds further complexity to troubleshooting issues.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring secure and efficient communication.
