Emailed Statement of Account - Option to CC matter responsible and attached copies of invoices

QUESTION:

We have another two questions for SOA when we use Acumin to send SOA (by selecting “E-mail Statement”):

  • Can the responsible lawyer be copied on email sent to the client?

  • Is there a way to attach outstanding invoices with the SOA?


RESPONSE: Both requirements can be accomplished when the statement of account is individually emailed. Statement of accounts which are individual emailed launch the email dialogue box. The user can carbon copies (cc content) as well as attach invoices saved in the Acumin invoice folder.

From a process perspective both are steps are not encouraged as they create email traffic and unnecessary volume. It is considered more cost effective to send all the statement of accounts due in a group and only individually resend with the outstanding invoice and a cc to the responsible for the matter lawyer, on an exceptional basis, when the SOA recipient requests invoice copies.
