Information on Security Labels / Permissions

QUESTION: How do I know to what each security item means? Can I have a document that identifies each permission?

RESPONSE: The security form includes labels that are self explanatory in context of the tab in which they present, as does the security options, and limits specific to member found in member properties. On right-click print list view, each tab content can be exported to excel (option to export to excel on user defaults must be on). If there is a security item of interest and the implications when used are not clear, our support desk will able to respond in context of the desired outcome or internal control and include supporting documentation in the form of how-to or concept documents..

For example, "reverse unbilled entry write-off", although self explained, in context of most firm's financial requirements it is seldom granted. This is because the reversal is akin to a correction, which will be processed – accounted for – on the entry transaction date. The financial impact when used, is understood by the those that exercise it and applied in context of cumulative materiality, especially as it will have limited use-case as a result of how unbilled entry write-offs are a controlled function.

As security models are based on concepts, those with administrator rights work with guiding principles aligned to stakeholder expectations in consideration of prior month and/or prior year financial results, so these can be applied to user groups in context of their responsibilities and expected workflow outcomes.
