Acumin Nexus - Is fees billed by matter billing lawyer a pre-calculated measure or do they use matter totals and role to calculate

QUESTION: I am looking for clarification on how to find a specific data set in Acumin Nexus.

Specifically, I am looking to find Fees billed information but for Billing Lawyer, not Working Member. Essentially the PRODUCTIVITY.METRICSALLOCATION table but we also need to sum these billed amounts by the billing lawyer, not just the working member.

 So far I have worked trying to combine this table with the MATTER.MEMBERBILLING in order to get the numbers I am looking for, but this isn’t as ideal as having it readily available in a table like the working member numbers are.

Is there anywhere I have missed in the data dictionary that focuses on solely Billing Lawyer numbers?

RESPONSE: We confirm  that Acumin.Nexus does not have Fees Billed or similar member type measures pre-calculated by billing lawyer or any other role holder.

The best way to report fees billed by billing lawyer (role holder) is to proceed as you have been doing. Join the Matter.MemberBillingRole table with the Productivity.MetricsAllocation table by MatterID and month/year (the measures are in context of the from - to dates), to and then summarize by member. 

We have escalated a recommendation to include these types of measures by matter, so they can be grouped or summarized by member role holder in the future by passing use of the Productivity.MetricsAllocation table in our Acumin.Nexus production plan in 2023.
