QUESTION: The personalized reports within Acumin.Web don’t work or don’t reflect any data
RESPONSE: The Crystal Reports Web Viewer requires the aspnet_client folder to function properly. The aspnet_client folder contains JavaScript files that are required by the Web Viewer to render the report viewer and provide various interactive features.
When you install Crystal Reports for Visual Studio, it should automatically create the aspnet_client folder in the root directory of your web application. However, if the folder is missing or has been deleted, you may need to create it manually or copy it from another server.
How to configure it as virtual directory:
-
Open the IIS Manager.
-
Select the website or application where you want to configure the virtual directory.
-
Right-click on the website or application and select "Add Virtual Directory" from the context menu.
-
In the "Add Virtual Directory" dialog box, enter "aspnet_client" in the "Alias" field.
-
In the "Physical path" field, enter the path to the aspnet_client folder on your server. By default, the folder is located in the wwwroot directory, so the path would be something like: %SystemDrive%\inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client.
-
Click the "OK" button to create the virtual directory.
-
The virtual directory should now be created, and you should be able to access the aspnet_client folder from your application.
