Rates for Member Classification or Groups of Members

QUESTION:

Can we create rates for member classifications or groups of members, for example all associates or all partners?

RESPONSE:

The 2.0 version series introduces the ability for firms to create rate categories based on rate-titles. Rate-title is a firm defined member attribute – like a member reporting classification.  Once the rate titles are created – for example "Associate", "Partner", "Senior Partner", etc. – and assigned to the member in member properties, the authorized user can create a reusable or client specific non-reusable rate category where each rate-title can be set to have a specific rate keeping the same functional attributes of the member rate categories.

If the firms is already using a version within the 2.0 version series but the option to create a rate-title rate category is created out or unavailable, please contact us authorizing us to open this option in your test environment. Although there is documentation on set-up and use-case, most firms opt for a couple of hours of collaborative working training sessions on their test environment making it easier to communicate expectations to others in the firm before set-up and use case are completed in the production database.
