Change Trust Receipt Cancelation Date

QUESTION: Is there any way to change the cancellation date from when it was effected in July to June 28^th on a deposit? We missed changing the cancelation date and it is affecting our June bank reconciliation.

RESPONSE: We confirm the there is no option to change the trust receipt cancellation date as it has implications  which can affect reporting as well as functional internal controls. We recommend that the cancellation be handled through a manual adjustment on the reconciliation for June, especially as it implicates trust management options including holding funds and trust reservation history. If this is not possible, we could forward this ticket to project development for a programmatic solution, however beyond incurring costs, we do not recommend this option as there is always risks that the update without controls generates unwanted outcomes elsewhere in trust management.
