Clearing Trust Reservations - Unable to use funds in trust

QUESTION: How to clear orphaned trust reservations? Unable to use funds even though the money is in trust. There seems to be a reservation with no cheque.

RESPONSE: The overnight quality assurance process includes a SQL script that clears orphaned reservations. Firms working with selected versions in the 14.0 series, or with version 2.0 have secured access to clear orphaned reservations.

From the “Other - Database Correction” sub-menu, select “Release Orphaned Trust Reservation” to execute the SQL scripts that will clear any orphaned reservations.
