QUESTION: We would like to get a report showing interest collected on Receivables.
RESPONSE:
We do not have a report that shows interest collected.
Options:
Export to excel the content of the interest collected in the GL (the master account), export to excel the billing history results on the AR dashboard filter and list view form.

Client 1 Screenshots of the client sub-tab, matter sub-tab, and invoice sub-tab presentations. Navigate through the bottom tabs instead of drill through to get all matters and all invoices for all matters.
Context:
In this example, the interest collected for the client is 573.47. It was collected on one matter. However once paid we do not know how much interest was charged for the matter. This is because our business logic is that interest charged is an incentive, we do not book it unless it is collected (not bad debt expense if not collected) which is why from a design perspective, once the invoice is paid it is the value collected if any that we store. The interest charge value is only stored and reportable while the invoice has an amount outstanding. For this reason the last screenshot shows interest paid of 573.47 but interest charged 0.00 (we could not show as N/A).
