Reports not displaying the client's name

QUESTION: Why is the client’s name not showing on the report?

RESPONSE: Many reports use the sort order name field content instead of the name field content to present the client’s name for individual and non-individual clients or when report’s results are ordered alphabetically (Alpha). When this field is left blank, the report uses the client’s number to fulfill the report’s name requirements instead of providing a reporting error or a blank result. 

To correct the situation, users with rights to change the properties of the client can populate the sort order name field with the name they wish to see on the report.
