Transfer - Why some entries are presented as locked

QUESTION: We are trying to do an entry transfer from matter to matter, however the entries are displaying as locked. What does it means?

RESPONSE: Entries which are locked out from a matter-to-matter transfer, typically indicate that there is an incompatibility between the source and destination matter. For example, as it is not possible to have chargeable time entries on a matter set to have the time entries as non-chargeable -  radio button position found within the chargeability sub-tab of the matter properties information tab - then any chargeable entries of a source matter could not be transferred to a non-chargeable time destination matter.
