Lock visible next to the contact's name in the Client Properties form

QUESTION: We noticed something unusual - a lock icon appears next to a contact’s name in the Client Properties form. What does it mean?

RESPONSE: The lock icon next to a contact in the client properties typically indicates that this contact is currently listed in a Client & Matter Request form as a contact that has not yet been validated. Once the contact is validated—either by being selected from the database or created as a new person—the lock should disappear.
