Changing the signatory on a posted invoice without canceling it

QUESTION: Is there any way you can change the signatory of an already posted invoice without having to cancel the invoice?

RESPONSE: Unfortunately, once an invoice is posted, the signatory cannot be changed. The invoice must be cancelled, modified, and reissued.
